A Non-Judgemental Space in Brighton & Hove
I believe therapy should offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where every individual feels heard, respected, and valued. Therapy is always influenced by the context of the times we live in. While our personal histories and internal worlds impact on us profoundly, external factors such as discrimination, social inequality, race, gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity also play significant roles. In Brighton & Hove, we have a diverse and vibrant community; I am committed to providing a counselling service that is tolerant, inclusive, and respectful of difference.

A Tailored Approach to Therapy
My practice is based on a deep belief in the individuality of each client. I tailor therapy sessions according to each person’s unique experiences, emotions, and goals. Therapy with me is not about giving advice or prescribing solutions; it is about facilitating a deeper understanding of yourself, your feelings, and the patterns influencing your life, helping you explore a lasting and beneficial way forward.
As a trusted counsellor, I pride myself in offering a distinguished and bespoke therapeutic service. My approach incorporates the latest insights from mindfulness-based therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming practices. The practice rooms I use are all comfortable and easily accessible, just a short distance from Brighton & Hove bus routes and mainline railway stations.

Counselling Experience and Qualifications
Over the past 30 years I have taken numerous training courses in counselling and talking therapies. I have trained with the NHS where I gained a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I also hold a Masters Degree from Bristol University which included studies in psychology and counselling theories.
